Subject to the additional restrictions below, to be qualified for the AARP Free Games and Puzzles Photo & Video Contest(the “Competition”) entrants must (I) be lawful residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia (ii) be forty-five (45) years old or older; and (iii) possess an energetic Facebook account. Entrants may register an account on this platform at no price tag. Entrant qualifications will be assessed at the time of entry.




These persons aren’t qualified to enter or to acquire (I) persons under the age of 45; (ii) directors, supervisors, and employees of AARP (“Sponsor”) and its partners, affiliates, and marketing agencies; and (iii) the immediate family members of, and some persons dwelling in precisely the exact same home as, any employee. The word “immediate relatives” is defined as parents, spouses, grandparents, siblings, children, and toddlers.

The Contest begins at the time that the Contest Announcement is submitted on AARP’s Facebook page May 1, 2020, and finish in 11:59 p.m. eastern time on May 8, 2020 (the”Contest Period”). Sponsor’s designated computer clock is going to function as timekeeping apparatus controlling the Contest Period. Entrants are responsible for deciding on the right start and end times in their respective time zones.

To enter, log in to your Facebook account. If you don’t have an current account, you might register at no charge. Any pictures included within an entry have to maintain .jpg format, and can not exceed 1 MB. Videos shouldn’t exceed 30 seconds, have to maintain mp4 format, and not exceed 1 MB.

Representations and Warranties: By entering the Contest, entrants represent and warrant that their entrances have been their own original work and, as such, they’re the exclusive and sole owner and rights holder of their entrance and they have the right to distribute the entrance and grant all necessary licenses and duties.

Every entrant agrees to not submit any entrance which infringes any third party proprietary rights, intellectual property rights, industrial property rights, private or moral rights or any other rights, including without limit, copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and privacy, publicity, or confidentiality duties. Series of Entries: Any software-generated, automatic, programmed, script, macro or other automated text or online message entries will be emptiness.

All entries become property of AARP and no one will be returned individually acknowledged. Each entry will be considered that the entry of the natural person assigned the accounts by the secretary of social networking platform. Prize: One (1) prize composed of a $25 Amazon digital gift card will be given to one (1) Winner. No prize substitutions allowed, except that Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to substitute a prize of equivalent or higher value.

Prizes may not be sold, bartered or traded from the winner. All particulars of any prize not specified herein will be determined solely by Sponsor. By accepting a prize, winner admits compliance with these Official Rules. All national, state, or other tax obligations arising out of this Contest are the sole responsibility of the winner.

Each entry will be assessed by Sponsor before May 6, 2020. Entries will be assessed according to the amount of Facebook engagements (enjoys, stocks, and remarks ) obtained .Winner will be selected at the sole discretion of the Sponsor and the Sponsor’s conclusion is final. In case of a tie, the entry with the maximum score in the class of Facebook stocks is going to be chosen as the Winner.




Any entrance selected will be subject to inspection from the Sponsor and can be disqualified for failure to follow the needs of this Contest, subject to the constraints outlined above. Sponsor reserves the right to look for an alternate Winner at the event the person originally chosen is disqualified, at Sponsor’s sole discretion.


The chances of winning depend upon the amount of qualified entries received and the Sponsor’s analysis of said entrances.


Once chosen, Winner will be advised in twenty-five (24) hours through a Facebook place along with a Facebook Messenger guide message. The Winner should respond through direct message into @AARPVirginia or email within forty-eight (48) hours of notification, or an alternate Winner will be chosen by random drawing.





Limitations of Liability

By entering the Contest, entrants agree to release Sponsor and its employees, representatives, affiliated companies, and advertising agencies (“Released Entities”) from any and all liability arising from: (1) any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by author, printing, typographical or other errors or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Competition; (2) technical failures of any sort, including, but not limited to malfunctions, interruptions, or disconnections in phone lines or network hardware or applications;

(3) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the Competition; (4) printing, typographical, technical, computer, community or human error that might occur in the management of this Contest, the statement of the Winner or at any Contest-related substances; (5) late, lost, undeliverable, stolen or damaged entrances; or (6) any injury or harm to property or persons which might be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from entrant’s participation in the Contest.

Entrants further agree to discharge Released Entities from any and all liability arising from either misdirected or undeliverable entries or for any technical problems, malfunctions of computer programs, servers, providers, hardware/software, lost or unavailable network connections or failed, incomplete, garbled or delayed computer transmission or any combination thereof.






Where allowed by law, the selected potential winner may be asked to submit a publicity release and limit of liability. Failure to complete such files in a timely fashion could also lead to the choice of an alternate Winner.

Acceptance of this offer to be printed suggests the entrant’s agreement and consent that Sponsor and its designees can use the entrant’s name, manage, city, state, likeness, photograph, and entry in relation to the marketing of this Contest, advertisements or other functions, globally, in all media now known or hereafter invented, including the world wide web, without restriction and without additional payment, notification, consent or other consideration, except where prohibited by legislation.

 Intellectual Property Rights

Every entrant shall maintain ownership of intellectual property rights in each entry (such as moral rights) subject to such Official Rules. But by entering the Contest, and to the extent permitted by law, each entrant grants Sponsor and its affiliates, licensees, promotional partners, developers and third party advertising entities a non-exclusive, perpetual, global, royalty-free permit to edit, alter, reduce, rearrange, add to, delete from, copy, copy, adapt, publish, tap and utilize the submitted entrance around the planet, and in any fashion, for commerce, advertising, promotional, commercial, or any other functions without additional inspection, notice, acceptance, thought, or reimbursement.


Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, freeze or alter the Contest, or some component of it, if any fraud, technical failures, virus, human error, any other variable impairs the integrity or proper performance of this Contest, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. In this event, Sponsor reserves the right to award the prizes at random from among the eligible entries or plays up to the period of this handicap. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the performance of their or to be acting in breach of the Official Rules of the or any other advertising or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner.

Any effort by any individual to deliberately undermine the legitimate operation of this Contest might be a violation of civil and criminal law, and, if such an attempt be made, Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such individual to the fullest extent allowed by law. Sponsor’s failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of the provision.

Governing Law

The Competition is governed by the laws of the District of Columbia, together with jurisdiction and place in Washington, DC, and all claims must be resolved in the courts of Washington, DC.

Personal Identifying Information

All private information filed in the Contest is subject to the AARP Privacy Policy, available in: Entrant agrees to this collection, storage and processing of their private data by Sponsor from the USA for purposes of this Contest.
